I have the biggest design crush on Jessica Hische, a renowned illustrator, designer and typographer. Her influence within the design community is quite astounding and her work continues to inspire me. Inspired by vintage fruit crate type, Jessica has quickly become well known for her use of color and creativity with letterforms. I’m not sure how I missed it but I recently discovered Daily Drop Cap, a site where Jessica graciously provides one initial cap a day for use in blog posts along with instructions. I love me a good matching game and the Switzerland by Momento happens to be my current favorite, however, I think this new one by the Brazilian design studio ps.2 could be a new contender. This typographic memory game was created as a self-promotion and features 20 different type families. It comes complete with a typographical glossary and history of each font, making this a designers dream game and a typographer’s porn
