This is a cool new trend I’ve been noticing: Tape as a design element. I particularly love this because it’s both functional AND cool! Here is an wonderful example of incorporating the tape into a broader design. This is from a great Norwegian design frim called Heydays.

Perfectly adorable tape that is not only functional but stunning to boot! I had no idea there was so much variety when it came to packaging tape, there are even blogs and stores dedicated to it! I think my favorite is the Lace Tape. I like that you can take two pieces and put them together to make different patterns, charming!
