Even though I have bright red hair, I’m not the least bit Irish but that doesn’t mean I can’t celebrate St. Patricks Day like I am! This week I’ve got two DIY projects in honor of ol’ St. Pat and this first one is a sweet twist on a pot of gold.

Simply cut rice crispy treats into the shape of gold bars, wrap in parchment paper and gold foil and serve! Don’t worry about cutting them perfectly, once wrapped in the gold foil, they truly look like the real deal! Fun for a party, lunch boxes or even shimmering favors!

I’ve got a couple of fun DIY projects I did that I can’t wait to share with you but first, I wanted to show this adorable project by the talented ladies of One Charming Party.

Sara and Brittany purchased the clear bags from my Esty shop,  filled them with gold coins and dressed them up with a label. The cute “It’s your lucky day!” printable is available for download on their site and I’m told there are more St. Patrick’s Day goodies to come!

I really dropped the ball on St. Patrick’s Day this year. I had the best intentions to create some cute little crafts to share with all of you and I had hoped to think of a fun way to celebrate with my husband. Sadly, between a busy work schedule last week and my sisters wedding over the weekend I wasn’t able to fit anything in. I did manage to find a few quick festive goodies that you may be able to squeeze in before the day is over.

1. Forgot to wear some green? Spare yourself the pinches and pin on a charming Shamrock Boutonniere from Martha Stewart.
2.”Sip” on a clever Popcorn Ball “Beer” Treat by The Hostess with the Mostess.
3. Stratigically place a few green bell pepper slices on a plate for an instant festive and healthy snack. Via Martha Stewart
4. Whip up a few of these no-bake Mint Oreo Truffles for a sweet dessert from (of course) Bakearella.
5. Dress up a simple cupcake with this downloadable PDF cupcake topper from TomKat Studio on To Be Charmed.
6. Send Kristen of Domestifluff a few air kisses for sharing this downloadable mini “Kiss Me” notecard and be prepared to pucker-up yourself!
