This project was inspired by the ever-so talented Elatia. I saw her “sewing a letter” to a friend and was completly blown away. I was so intriqued by the idea that I wanted to try something similar. I decided to send a little love letter to my husband and base it off of white college ruled notebook paper. Since I’ve never sewn type, I kept it simple for this first attempt. Many thanks to Elatia for the constant source of funny and inspiration!

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! The sun finally came out here in Seattle yesterday and it made for such a perfect weekend day! I have to say that the sun really made me look forward to summer which of course made me think of long weekend trips and vacations. Sadly I don’t think my hubby and I will be taking any trips this summer but a girl can always dream… Which brings me to today’s post; these stitching postcards from Uncommon Goods.

The lovely Halli of Good Wifey sent me a link to these stitching postcards last week. This would be a great personal keepsake to remember the route of a favorite trip or share your adventures with friends. Love the simplicity of this idea and it’s affordable too! Thanks Halli!
