DIY Stuffed Easter Bunny

Here is an easy Easter project I did this weekend, a stuffed Easter Bunny named Poppy! All you need to do is print out this handy template on inkjet fabric or iron-on transfer paper, then cut, sew, stuff and enjoy! The template has a blue and yellow pattern that I designed, see below for a detail shot.

NOTE: Check your Iron-on instructions to see wether or not you need to reverse the print out.

Psst! Check back tomorrow for another Easter project!

Lost in ffffound No.5

Inspired by all the positive feedback from the peeps earlier in the week; I used their colors as a launching off point for today’s Lost in fffound. Something about this color set feels so energetic and inspiring. Hope you all have a lovely weekend and check back Monday for the announcement of the winner of the Li’l Tweet Stitch Kit Giveaway!

Stick it to ‘em!

I think I just died and went to heaven! Perfectly adorable tape that is not only functional but stunning to boot! I had no idea there was so much variety when it came to packaging tape, there are even blogs and stores dedicated to it! I think my favorite is the Lace Tape. I like that you can take two pieces and put them together to make different patterns, charming!

Lisa Rupp, a surface pattern designer, sent me a link to her amazing work yesterday and I couldn’t resist sharing! I just adore her patterns, color palettes and all the whimsical details in each illustration.

Lisa is graciously offering a free printable calendar for March and will continue to offer a calendar every month for the rest of 2009! Since I missed the calendar boat this year I couldn’t be happier! The two that are available for February and March are absolutely stunning! Be sure to check out Lisa’s blog here and see more of her concept work and patterns on her Flickr page. Thanks to Lisa for sharing!
