Happy Monday to you all! I wanted to start off the week with some pretty Etsy inspiration. From top: Sweet Alain teardrop earrings from Elephantine, inexpensive and beautiful printable gift tags from the Bella Card Co., charming purple felted acorns from Fairy Folk, and lastly, a set of 5 engraved doily birch coasters from Uncommon – brilliant!
Ever since my pup ripped my last pillow cover to shreds I’ve been on the look out for a replacement. I’ve become infatuated with all things mirrored and metallic so when I spotted this velvet and silver pillow on The Bright Side Project I instantly fell in love! I’ve entered my name in the pot so fingers crossed that I win but in the likely chance that I won’t, I’m keeping this one bookmarked. This is one of many stunning pillows sold in the Be Still shop so you must stop by and check them out!

I am beyond in love with these charming prints from Mint Parcel. Amy is the artist behind them and was kind enough to send me a link to her site and shop. She does such a great job giving life to her illustrations all while using simple geometric shapes. Cute doesn’t even begin to describe her work, I mean anyone who can make an octopus look huggable has serious talent. Make sure to check out more of her work on her site along with her shop and blog!

Be sure to check in Monday! I’ve got a guest post to share with all of you and some fun baby shower DIYs coming up! Have a great weekend everyone!
Etsy featured the most wonderful store last Friday! To say that owner William Dohman is prolific would be a gross understatement. From graphic prints and photos to heart melting toys, there is something for everyone. My absolute favorite are these wooden signs, they look like they could cheer up any room! He has a ton of pre-done signs but if you don’t find what you’re looking for a custom option is also available.
What a beautiful custom embroidered silhouette. This would make for a very sweet bridal shower gift or even a precious keepsake for a new parent. Check them out in The Time is Now Shop on Etsy.
I’m completely crushing on these coasters from Dimmalimm Home. A convenient way to protect your furniture without the hassle of asking people to use a coaster. Plus, they’re so pretty, you’re guests will be thrilled to use them. Just slip them on before the party and you’ve got instant decor as well!
These coasters are made of beautifully muted felt and come in either a Citrus pattern or Hibiscus style. Be sure to check out the Dimmalimm Home Shop, it’s well worth the visit.
I recently purchased this Sugar & Sweets Print by Katie Kirk and couldn’t keep the joy all to myself. I love Katie’s work beyond words and I’m ecstatic that I now own a piece of it. This image doesn’t do it justice, it’s even sweeter in person! The gold shines in the light and the details are immaculate! A girl after my own heart, she was inspired by Martha Stewart, Amy Atlas, Coppola’s Marie Antoinette and Willy Wonka. Swoon!
See more of Katie’s work at her design site, Eight Hour Day or purchase your own from her Etsy shop. Lot’s more great stuff to see!
On a completely unrelated note, Maggie of magchunk has put together a fun interview of me on her lovely blog. It was so sweet of Maggie to invite me to share more about myself and I had so much fun answering her questions! If you’d like to take a look you can read the full post here and I hope you enjoy it!

Back by popular demand! These were a big hit last year and I’ve been getting tons of emails lately about them so I’ve made an updated version for 2010! Just download the file and print directly onto the paper bag. For more detailed instructions and other printing suggestions visit my previous post here. Once you’ve made the bags, fill with heart shaped brownies cut with a cookie cutter.
Last year one reader suggested that a wax paper or glassine bag be placed inside to preserve the craft bag. I loved the suggestion and incorporated it into these photos. To make the scalloped edge, simply cut tops of bags off using a rotary cutter and scalloped pinking blade.
Additionally, I now also carry the brown craft bags in my Etsy shop. Sold in packs of 25 they’re great for all sorts of crafts, gifts and little treats! Not a fan of the craft bag? I also stock them in white. I’ve got a few more Valentine’s Day goodies coming this week so be sure to check back often!
*UPDATE! I completely spaced on the fact that the rest of the world writes their dates differently so please forgive my polarizing design. I’ve created another file which you can download here with the date 14.02.10. Apologies and please enjoy! xoxo, Kathleen
Making a guest appearance in my latest DIY project for Style Me Pretty, I’ve got a new Print Your Own template in my Etsy shop to share. This Ornament Favor Wrap uses only black ink so it can be printed on any color card stock. Pair with a coordinating holiday ornament and they make for a festive favor.
Not just for weddings, these would be perfect for any of the upcoming holiday meals and events that are quickly approaching. All you’ll need is an ornament, then simply print, cut and secure with a ribbon and you’ve got instant table decor! And at just $4 for the template it’s affordable too! *Tip: For an extra touch, hand write names on the ribbon with a fabric pen and they double as place cards!
I’ve got another Felt Craft coming up later today to be sure to check back!
