Sweet Tooth

Monday, February 1st, 2010

Here’s a DIY for you if my other ones were a little too sweet for your tastes. There’s nothing like a gift that will remind your special someone of you twice a day! I can’t think of a better way to start your morning than with a sweet little love note. Simply wrap one of these tags around your loved one’s toothbrush and be prepared for smiles!

I spotted these adorable toothbrushes and they became the inspiration for this Valentine’s Day gift. You can find them online at amazon.com and Almanders Alley.

The template includes four sayings, a him and a her and a blank one for your own ideas.

Included sayings:

I’ve got a sweet tooth for you.
You’re too sweet for words.
You’re the toothpaste to my toothbrush.
You satisfy my sweet tooth.

DIY Valentine’s Day Goodie Bags

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

I know it’s a bit early for all these Valentine’s Day posts but I can’t resist! I had so much fun creating this new bag for all of you that I just couldn’t wait to share! Plus, I wanted you to be able to have time to get bags, print, make goodies and fill with time to spare.

Inspired by all things sweet and love related, I created this little pattern and printed onto the bag directly from my Ink Jet printer. If you don’t have an Ink Jet or if your printer doesn’t allow you to print odd formats, you could always print the label onto sticker paper (found at office supply stores) and post apply it to the bag. Fill with cookies, muffins, a handmade card, or whatever it is that your special someone will enjoy. Download the file here and enjoy! xoxo

Perfect for projects like these or for other crafts and gifts the White and craft paper bags are available through my Etsy shop here in bundles of 25.

Since school has started up this month I thought it would be fun to create a back-to-school project. My friend Rachel was helping me brainstorm some ideas and she suggested something to go in lunch bags. That’s when it hit me, little illustrated lunch notes would be the perfect addition to a kids mid-day meal! There are six designs to send a reminder or just to say how much you love them. Like all my DIY’s, just print, cut and enjoy!

(Thanks Rachel!)
