Hi friends! I hope you all had a fabulous Halloween weekend! My sister Laurel got married on Saturday and I needed an extra day to recover from the celebration. It’s been a crazy few weeks helping her get everything done but it turned out great and she and her husband couldn’t be happier!

Speaking of happy, Ez of Creature Comforts, just launched Gifted Magazine; an online publication featuring holiday projects, freebies and fabulous gift guides. I’ve had mixed feelings about online magazines up until now only because the format doesn’t really lend itself to web as well as I would like. But Ez has done a fantastic job with this one. Not only is it seamless while viewing, it’s also a feast for the eyes and each image links directly to the site or shop!

I can’t wait to try each of the DIY projects and I am utterly inspired for the holidays. You simply MUST check it out and be prepared for a whole lot of joy.

I am so excited for Ez and Marichelle’s newest collaboration. The pair have teamed up to open Nice Package. The shop is full of gift and packaging essentials. I spotted and fell in love with this charming DIY Shoe bag tutorial by Betz White seen on Creature Comforts earlier this week. Such a simple and useful idea that happens to be completely charming as well. These lovelies are made with thrifted sheets and would make  a fantastic gift, especially if you’re on a budget.
