I finally have the complete set of baby shower goodies up on my Etsy shop! It seems that so many people I know are having babies these days so I felt inspired to make a baby shower kit of sorts. When I hosted a friends shower last year I had such a blast but it was quite the challange to come up with all the details. Hopefully this set will make planning a little easier for some of you.

This set, fondly named “Li’l Tweet”, is just the beggining of what I hope to offer in my shop but to celebrate I wanted to host a little give away! One lucky winner will recieve a Li’l Tweet Stitch Kit in one of four colors: green, pink, yellow or blue.

A little eye candy for your Wednesday. Daily Poetics has a completely outstanding collection of ephemera on their Flickr stream. She has page after page of wonderful examples, I could spend hours sifting through all the photos. Here are a few of my favorites so far.

I am SO excited to announce that I’ve opened up shop on Etsy over the weekend! I hope to be able to share more templates and other craftables in the future but for now I’ve got just the one project (in 4 colors). I’ve received several requests for my Baby Quiz Scorecards from my friends shower that I designed and hosted, and I thought it would be a good place to start.

These PDFs are editable, so you can fill in your own questions and answers and then print and cut. The best part is that once you’ve downloaded the template it’s yours to keep and use again and again! Below are some pictures from my first listing at the Twig & Thistle Store on Etsy.

Have you ever thought to yourself; “OMG, I wish I’d thought of that!”? Well that’s exactly what I thought when I saw this lovely card! I was so smitten after one look that I had to share! This perfect little greeting by Chickabird contains a Sweetheart Animal Patch Kit that includes one iron-on animal, directions for ironing and sewing, a needle, and red embroidery floss. Seems utterly perfect for Valentine’s but this would be a lovely gift card year round.

This is one of many amazing products made by the oh-so-talented ladies at Chickabird. I first fell in love with their RandL canvas totes at the Urban Craft Uprising in December and have become huge fans of their blog as well. Be sure to check out what these two have going on, it’s sure to please!

I spent the better part of last week designing and printing our company’s holiday card. Considering that I had less than 24 hours to design and order the plates for letterpressing I’m pretty happy with how they turned out.

We needed a simple card that could be customized with a personal note and mailed to our clients. The design is a subtle nod to holiday sweaters while celebrating the beauty of letterpress. I did one pattern with snowflakes and another with reindeer. Below are some pictures of the cards.

This is from 2005 and it’s just as lovely today!
