Hope everyone here in the states had a good Thanksgiving weekend! I got to try a few projects I’ve been really meaning to do, while the hubby pretty much stayed glued to his Xbox. All in all a win win! Anyway, here is one said project, homemade dog treats! A friend sent me the recipe and it couldn’t be easier, just mix, roll, cut and bake! I used some pie crust cutters I got for my birthday and they were the perfect size for little Tula. One word of advice thougth, you can really taste the baking powder so when I do this next time I’m going to try to use less and see how they work out.

Also, I had to postpone the last Friday’s surprise, fingers crossed for this week!

I saw these in a store today and immediately got jealous that I didn’t think of them myself! It’s pretty clear I have a thing for cupcakes, so it’s no wonder that I think this Oh Baby Baby Cake Set by Meri Meri is so cute! I just love how the colors and patterns work together and the animals are the definition of adorable. These would be the perfect compliment to a baby shower or birthday or eating a batch of cupcakes while watching American Idol. Just an idea

Looking back on my sister’s wedding reminded me of a detail of my own wedding that I really loved. I knew that my mother could bake but she took it to a whoe new level with the groom’s cake for our rehearsal dinner. My mom decided to base it on my husband’s love of video games ( don’t worry ladies, I’m working on it) and the result was nothing short of outstanding.

Needless to say, my husband was completely blown away! Who wouldn’t love a tiramisu Playstation Portable cake! Looking back at these photographs I still can’t believe the amount of work, love and attention to detail that went into it. Thanks mom! xoxo

If you didn’t get enough hamburger goodness from yesterday, here is an extra serving. Cupcakes that look like burgers, it doesn’t get much cuter! It even has lettuce made of coconut and a sesame seed “bun”!
