I spotted this beautiful first birthday invitation and certificate on Pinterest yesterday in Inspired Bride’s collection. This suite was created by the husband and wife team of Duet letterpress for their adorable daughter, Emily. What a lucky girl!

The invitation is letterpressed on the smaller pink card and details from the 1st year are included in the certificate. Both were bundled up with baker’s twine along with a picture of the birthday girl in a small glassine envelope.

I think the certificate is such a sweet way of celebrating all those simple moments and big milestones with your friends and family. See more pictures and find out the details about the printing here.

My husband sent me a link to this beautiful new flooring called Bolefloor. Bole, which means the trunk of the tree, is a new tongue-and-groove system with curved boards that come from the tree’s natural growth.

I wish we had the means to re-floor our entire house with these! There is something so absolutely stunning in their irregular curves and details. Definitely putting this idea in the inspiration folder for our future dream home!

With Easter almost here, Mother’s Day is soon to follow! I’ve updated my original Mother’s Day Door Hanger for 2011 and hopefully it’ll come in handy for a few of you.

Whether it’s a gift for yourself or someone you know, I’m sure everyone can appreciate a little down time this Mother’s Day. The best part, it’s a gift that keeps on giving; hang whenever a quite moment is needed and cherish those precious times! All you need to do is download, print, cut and hang! Happy early Mother’s Day!

DIY Bunny Garland

April 20th, 2011 | 11 Comments »

Cute little bunny garland that can be cut and assembled quickly and would make a great last minute addition to any Easter celebration! Hat tip to Pinterest for the find, and link to Titatoni’s adorable site where you can get the download.

Titatoni is in German and so are the instructions but it looks fairly simple to follow. Can’t wait to give it try!
