My friend Ali introduced me to photographer Ditte Isager recently and to my surprise I recognized a lot of her work from my countless Martha Stewart magazines. Some of her most recent work can be seen in the Poppy Love article in the May Issue of Living.

The saturated tones and playful sense of scale is stunning and so ethereal. I adore Ditte’s work and you should definitely check out her extensive portfolio if you get a chance. Inspiration galore!

I have an affinity to men’s accessories. I think it’s the classic materials of leather, metal and glass that create such a glamorous scene. Designer Taylor Pemberton created this line of gentlemen’s accessories and fine goods for a school project.

Naturally, Cavalier Essentials has received quite a bit of attention; just look at those details! The subtle black-on-black notebook and the etched metal scream rustic sophistication. Unfortunately these products aren’t available for purchase just yet but Taylor says if the demand is big enough he’d consider launching his manly kits. Hands down one of the best students projects I’ve ever seen. I’ll be the first in line to purchase some of these beauties for my husband when they do become available but until then, we can admire the beautiful styling and impeccable pieces from his Cavalier brand!

Somehow I missed this Easter Tablescape by Remodelista with Gwyneth Paltrow but came across it thanks to the Meriment Blog. I’ve always been a big fan of Gwyneth’s sophisticated but laid-back style and this tablescape seems to fit her personality to a T! I just love the combination of pale pinks and blues with white, tan, and black. Photographer Simon Bevan did an outstanding job of capturing this beautiful table top! I wish I could join in the feast!

And P.S. how amazing does Gwyneth look in these photos?! My goodness, so SO pretty!

With Spring around the corner, I have dreams about redecorating my entire house. Maybe a serene space with hues of  green throughout like these images from photographer Polly Wreford. There is such a sense of vibrancy and cleanliness all while being relaxed and calming.

How about you, any plans to update or renovate for spring? We’re saving up for a new kitchen so no big plans to remodel soon, but some day…

After a few beautiful days here is Seattle I am completely and utterly ready for Spring! I even managed to mow the yard this weekend which is always a great feeling. I’m preparing for the dreary Northwest rain to return soon but thankfully I have this lovely image to remind me of sunnier days.

These photographs by Maria Ikonomopoulou are absolutely breathtaking! Originally for an exhibit in 2006, the shapes are actually names cut from paper. I adore the simulated waterfall effect and the concept of being clothed in names of loved ones is brilliant.

This idea would make for a beautiful backdrop for an alter at a wedding or even a photo booth at a birthday party!

I can’t believe it’s already been three years but today marks our third wedding anniversary! To my sweet and adorable husband Joseph, I adore you and thank you for loving me!

Sadly, I only just discovered A Creative Mint about a month ago. Sad, simply because I felt like I’d been missing out on this fantastic party that everyone else knew about but me! Well, consider yourself officially invited! If you haven’t already seen Leslie’s work, you absolutely need to check it out right this second!

When J.Crew first introduced their wedding dress line way back when, I was amazed at how stunningly simple their collection of dresses was. Classic and modern styles made out of practical yet luxurious materials, offered affordable high-fashion design. Fast forward to present day and you have the first J.Crew Bridal Boutique located on Madison Avenue. I will definitely be stopping by for a jaw-dropping experience on my next trip to NYC! In the meantime, I have selected some of my favorites from their Fall 2010 lookbook. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
