When J.Crew first introduced their wedding dress line way back when, I was amazed at how stunningly simple their collection of dresses was. Classic and modern styles made out of practical yet luxurious materials, offered affordable high-fashion design. Fast forward to present day and you have the first J.Crew Bridal Boutique located on Madison Avenue. I will definitely be stopping by for a jaw-dropping experience on my next trip to NYC! In the meantime, I have selected some of my favorites from their Fall 2010 lookbook. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do!

I adore these delightfully simple and ethereal images of an early garden. Sárah Goldschadt managed to make the simplest new beginnings into a beautifully optimistic and inspiring scene.
See more of Sárah’s photos on Flikr and be sure to stop by her fantastic blog – it’s a new personal favorite!

It’s been awhile since I’ve done a Lost in ffffound and there is so much great stuff to see on ffffound so I decided to revisit an old fave. I’ve been feeling girly lately and drawn toward lot’s of pinks so this one is inspired by that. Hope you enjoy and have a great weekend everyone!

I spotted these illustrations on ffffound last week and it struck me as so carefree and sweet that I had to post them. These images are completely computer generated from an original photograph by creating a mosaic using a modified digital program. Charis Tsevis’s work is phenomenal and should definitely be checked out. See more of his style and work on his site and blog.

I find the work by Nichole Sloan to be incredibly inspiring and majestic. Here are some shots of a beautiful promotional piece titled “Ruby & Jack” that I got in the mail recently from Nichole. From the gorgeous little kids, to the styling, her work is simply enchanting! See more of Nichole’s stunning work on her site here.

I recently discovered Tartelette, a food and photo styling blog by Helen, and noticed that she used this plastic cutlery in several of her shots. Designed to look like classic flatware, these polycarbonate utensils would be perfect for outdoor dining or a casual party. Not only are they beautiful, they also happen to be re-useable and dishwasher safe. Immediately smitten, I was bent on locating their source. I found some at Amazon.com and just placed an order for my own set. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am to get them!

I’m beyond in love with the photography of Rosanna Anson. I first spotted several of her Circus themed pictures on ffffound and saved them to look at from time to time. There’s something so beautiful about the way she uses color and props to tell a story in a single shot. Be sure to check out the rest of her work, it’ll leave you speechless.

My eyes nearly popped out of my head when I spotted this adorable 1st birthday party on The City Sage a few weeks ago. As Anne quickly points out, NO, I can NOT handle the cute!
Every detail, put together by Evan’s Mom and the event coordinator, Petite Production, is so delightful and totally sophisticated. I love the unexpected contemporary color palette used for the safari theme. Luckily for us, the talented Youkeun Oh photgraphed the whole event and captured these seriously beautiful shots. Be prepared to be totally inspired and check out all the details on his blog.

I’m not sure how I managed to get my degree in Design without ever taking photography. Seems odd to me looking back and now I have quite a bit of catching up to do. Over the weekend I had the pleasure of taking a class from Nicole of A Little Sussy. This was a one day course that covered the basics of photography ranging from aperture and shutter speed to composition and lighting. I’m a huge fan of Nicole’s work so this was a real treat. If you happen to get the chance, I highly recommend snagging a space in one of her classes.
Speaking of Nicole, I thought it would be fun to share one of her most recent projects. She photographed this adorable Raggedy Ann children’s party styled by Brittany of One Charming Party. Being a “ginger” myself, I just love anything that has to do with Raggedy Ann. I particularly love each of the charming little details that can be seen throught the table. Wrapped PB&J sandwiches and tower of lollipops anyone?! Definetlly tucking this one away in the memory for when I have kids. Love!
