Loyal Luxe has created two of the cutest pet abodes ever! I admittedly got these for a few of my friends and their furry feline companions for Christmas. While a cardboard box will usually suffice, there is something to be said for a Cat Cabin complete with miniature antlers above the door way. And who can resist a Native American TeePee with a dream catcher?!

As if these recycled play houses weren’t enough you MUST check out the Loyal Luxe site. I promise you it’s worth it! I had it playing for over an hour at work. *Hint, it involves multiple kittens, puppies in bow ties and just general adorableness!

I’m back today with a few more photos from my husband’s 3oth Birthday Surprise. Sadly I was so busy the day of the event that I wasn’t able to snap any pictures of the party but I was able to shoot some of the details afterwards. I really went all out with the decorations too so I’m bummed that I don’t have any pics to share.

To coordinate with the “meat tooth” theme, I made meat inspired buttons that people could wear as they saw fit. It was a nice ice breaker for people that didn’t know each other and a fun token from the party. We can all use a little flare now and then!

I knew that people would be dressing up, so I wanted to make sure Tula was properly accessorized . I’d seen this tutorial in Martha Stewart Weddings on how to make flowers from silk and tulle so I sewed one and attached it to a matching homemade dog collar. Tula was quite the trooper and looked perfectly adorable in her oversized corsage!

But something happened to me… her big lovable eyes and her darling personality made me a big softy and spoiler. I have never been so in love with a pet and I have to keep myself from buying her a new toy whenever I happen to be out. My husband surprised me for my birthday and gave me / Tula this sweet little rain slicker from J. Crew. I’d secretly been lusting after it for some time but could never bring myself to actually purchase. Thankfully he was paying attention and surprised me! So here she is ladies and gents, miss Tula in her very own yellow raincoat!

I’ve been on the lookout for a good rain slicker for our puppy Tula and came across Rufhaus. They have the absolute cutest dog clothes that I have ever seen, I’m particularly fond of the the Holmes (pictured) from their Brit Collection. They pay such close attention to detail and really everything they make looks top notch. That quality comes at a price though they start around $150 and can go north of $1000 per piece – that’s a lot of bones.
