Hello Again!

September 12th, 2011

Thank You by Drew Melton of The Phraseology Project

Hello again friends! Gosh, it feels like it’s been forever! Only three months away from blogland and I felt myself going a little crazy. I’m happy to report that I am finally feeling much better. I still struggle with some pain from time-to-time but overall I am encoraged by my progress.

I want to say a big thanks¬†to all that sent me notes and good wishes. I can’t tell you how nice it was knowing I had so many people caring for me and thinking positive thoughts. I think it helped to take some time off from blogging and realy focus on getting better. Thank you agian for your support and patience.

I’ve decided to return to blogging but on more of a limited basis so as not to over do it. I’ll be posting once a week from now on and I am thrilled to be getting back into the swing of things! I’ll continue to share my favorite design finds along with personal projects I’ve put together. I’m so excited to be back and I can’t wait to get started!¬†Check back later today for a project I just finished at work, I can’t wait to share it with you!

Glad you’re on the mend. Glad to have you back for the craftiest time of year.

  2. Tanya H Says:

Again, you were sorely missed, but are so thrilled that your health has improved. Glad to have you with us after this brief pause in regular programming.

Here is your dose of unsolicited advice from a complete stranger for the day:
As a sufferer of chronic pain (19 years now), remember to create a new ‘normal’ for yourself, cut yourself some slack–you’re not Superwoman and no one expects you to be, ask for more help than you’re used to, and above all else–being in pain is NOT normal. This is your body talking to you. Stop. Listen. Adjust accordingly.

Now you can just hit the Delete button.

Thanks so much Tanya, I really do appreciate the advice. Never had any serious health issues before, this has been a huge learning process for me. I am taking it slower this time and will try not to over do it. Hugs and I hope you are feeling better as well. xoxo, Kathleen

Cannot tell you how THRILLED I am that you’ve rejoined the blogging community. Fortunately, I was still able to capture a fraction of your design brilliance through Pinterest, but I have to admit, it wasn’t enough. So thankful to hear you’re feeling better and to know that you love blogging just as much as enjoy reading your blog. Praying for you to get better everyday Kathleen!

I just got super excited. YOU made my day. I’ve had your link in my blog bookmarks folder since before you took time off and I kept you there, but I haven’t clicked over in a while, and then today I clicked on your blog (you know, just to see) AND YAYY!! You’re back! Now I’m going to go read all the posts I’ve missed since September.

I really should get a RSS Feed … this wouldn’t of happened if I had one (but I love reading posts on bloggers actual blogs!)
