Mall Pretzels from Elephantine!

Thursday, May 5th, 2011

Rachel over at Elephantine is one clever lady! She recently started creating the most amazing food videos and her latest one has me soft pretzel crazy! I can not WAIT to give these a try, only I have a feeling I won’t look quite as adorable as her making them. Get the recipe and watch the video here. Enjoy!

DIY Pallet Headboard

Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011

My husband and I placed an order for new bedroom furniture back in March from West Elm and have watched our delivery date go from 4-6 weeks to five months. We’ve received discounts to compensate for the inconvenience but all we really want is our new furniture and can’t wait for it to arrive!

I’m thrilled to see our room come together but the delay has made us impatient and we’ve even considered making our own. Take a look at this beautiful and insanely creative headboard made from a wood pallette by Stylizimo. With the right bedding and accessories it looks so chic!

While we try to decide if we can wait it out, I’ll be looking into more inventive ideas like this one. And speaking of amazing ideas, be sure to browse around on Stylizimo if you haven’t before, it’s a plethora of talent and inspiration!

Guilt Free Mousse!

Monday, May 2nd, 2011

I have the worst sweet tooth in the world which makes losing weight a bit of a challenge. So it’s always nice when you discover simple tricks that make you feel like you’re getting all the sweets you want but without all the guilt. In case any of you are plagued with the need for sweets like myself, then I have the perfect little treat!

Just fold 2 tablespoons of  fat free cool whip into a 60 calorie pudding snack and you’ve got 75 calories of filling and deliciously indulgent mousse! It totally hits the spot and no remorse included! Yummers, hope you enjoy!
