Garland of Names
February 28th, 2011These photographs by Maria Ikonomopoulou are absolutely breathtaking! Originally for an exhibit in 2006, the shapes are actually names cut from paper. I adore the simulated waterfall effect and the concept of being clothed in names of loved ones is brilliant.
This idea would make for a beautiful backdrop for an alter at a wedding or even a photo booth at a birthday party!

I love that the names make the shape of the garland a little irregular. So pretty!

Oh, this is special. Could be cool for a guest room where everyone who stays adds their name?
