Today is day two of Five Days of Felt here on T&T and this is by far one of my favorite felt projects I’ve ever seen! Thanks to Family Circle and SuzonneĀ Stirling of Urban Comfort for sharing the tutorial and pattern for how to make these little woodland pine cones! I’m hoping to make loads of these over the holidays so fingers crossed I can find the time.

Oh my gosh! I just bookmarked that tutorial, those are SO cute. I can picture a cute mini-tree with nothing but cute felt pine cones to decorate it. I wish I had a bigger house to set up a second tree…

Will be trying! to do these with my nieces this weekend. Great idea, Thank you. There is a lady , Lucy Antwis, from my home city (York, Uk) who is also making some wonderful creations using felt. You may like to have a look at her site too http://www.Itwis.co.uk or @lucyantwis.

Aren’t they great? I tried them already, and be forewarned that I spent about an hour doing my first one! They are definitely time consuming, but so worth it — everyone loves them!
