Cupcake Liner Flower Tree
October 27th, 2010I can’t believe I almost forgot to mention this but I have been wanting to do this craft for months! In July, Kristen of Paper Crave, shared her tutorial for how to make a cupcake liner flower tree. Hers was originally inspired by a stunning sugar flower cake seen on the cover of the Martha Stewart Weddings. Kristen made hers in white but suggested that a black one for Halloween would be just as spectacular.
I ended up making one to use as a prop for my BHG pumpkin candle holders project but sadly ended up not using any of the shots. However, this little tree is still one of my favorite crafts I’ve done in a while and it was super simple to do. It now sits prominently on our mantle and I love that it will last for the duration of the fall.
I imagine that one of these in any color would be amazing and instantly add a pop of festivity to any event! How cute would it be if the cupcake wrappers were polka-dots, stripes or gradated from one color to another… oh the possibilities!
Kristen’s got some amazing shots of how to put it all together so be sure to check out her full post for all the details and instructions. Thanks for the fantastic inspiration Kristen!
