I really dropped the ball on St. Patrick’s Day this year. I had the best intentions to create some cute little crafts to share with all of you and I had hoped to think of a fun way to celebrate with my husband. Sadly, between a busy work schedule last week and my sisters wedding over the weekend I wasn’t able to fit anything in. I did manage to find a few quick festive goodies that you may be able to squeeze in before the day is over.

1. Forgot to wear some green? Spare yourself the pinches and pin on a charming Shamrock Boutonniere from Martha Stewart.
2.”Sip” on a clever Popcorn Ball “Beer” Treat by The Hostess with the Mostess.
3. Stratigically place a few green bell pepper slices on a plate for an instant festive and healthy snack. Via Martha Stewart
4. Whip up a few of these no-bake Mint Oreo Truffles for a sweet dessert from (of course) Bakearella.
5. Dress up a simple cupcake with this downloadable PDF cupcake topper from TomKat Studio on To Be Charmed.
6. Send Kristen of Domestifluff a few air kisses for sharing this downloadable mini “Kiss Me” notecard and be prepared to pucker-up yourself!

I’m not sure how I came across these beautiful wrapping paper sheets by Loop but I’m completely smitten. This drawing series was adapted from original to-scale pen and ink drawings. Inspired by patterns in nature, the movement of the sea and the accumulation of time, they really are stunning pieces of giftable art.

Yummy and beautiful hot chocolate sticks, what more could you possibly want? *sigh. It’s been a little on the cold side lately and these lovelies would make the days all that much warmer. The genius AmberLee of GiversLog came up with these and has step-by-step directions on how to make them. Bottoms up!

Here are a few pictures from my Oscar party last Sunday. We had some good friends over and it was a ton of fun! I got the idea for the hello cheese tags from Real Simple: Celebrations and my hubby whipped up a batch of “Na’vi Nectar” as a fun drink. The ballots were a huge hit as were the Oscar Bingo Cards from How About Orange. Everyone had a great time and I’d like to give  a big ol’ thank you to Dove Visibly Smooth for sponsoring the event!

I’m heading to Las Vegas this weekend to attend my sister Gena’s wedding (yay!) If you have any suggestions on what to do while we’re there I’d love to here from you in the comments.
