Orders Oh My!

Friday, February 5th, 2010

Hi all, no post today, I spent last night getting caught up on Etsy 0rders. I’ll be back Monday but in the meantime spend a few hours at thecutest.info. I’m telling you, it’s awesome! Have a great weekend!

Cake Couture

Thursday, February 4th, 2010

Wear your cake and eat it too! A friend of mine sent this to me and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. It sounds so odd to make a dress out of cake but somehow this managed to be stunningly beautiful. Who knew frosting could look so chic!

This extraordinary creation was created by Lukka Sigurdardottir and more pics can be seen on Gather and Nest.

T&T in Nonpareil Magazine!

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

If you didn’t already know, Maddy and Kristen (of Inspired Bride and Paper Crave respectively), just launched their wonderful online wedding magazine: Nonpareil! It’s a truly amazing effort, and I was honored when they asked me to contribute a downloadable DIY. I created two sets of invitations in three color-ways each! Shown above is the Ephemera collection. Head on over to Nonpareil to download yours! And congrats ladies on your launch!

Party Perfect!

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

I’m not sure how I managed to get my degree in Design without ever taking photography. Seems odd to me looking back and now I have quite a bit of catching up to do. Over the weekend I had the pleasure of taking a class from Nicole of A Little Sussy. This was a one day course that covered the basics of photography ranging from aperture and shutter speed to composition and lighting. I’m a huge fan of Nicole’s work so this was a real treat. If you happen to get the chance, I highly recommend snagging a space in one of her classes.

Speaking of Nicole, I thought it would be fun to share one of her most recent projects. She photographed this adorable Raggedy Ann children’s party styled by Brittany of One Charming Party. Being a “ginger” myself, I just love anything that has to do with Raggedy Ann. I particularly love each of the charming little details that can be seen throught the table. Wrapped PB&J sandwiches and tower of lollipops anyone?! Definetlly tucking this one away in the memory for when I have kids. Love!
