Alt Love No.1

February 17th, 2010

As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I attended the Altitude Design Summit in Salt Lake City last month. It was such an incredible experience and I am so happy that I could be there. Now, even four weeks later, I’m still trying to process everything I learned.  There have been many great recaps of the event already and I don’t think there is much that I could add. Instead, I thought it’s be fun to highlight some of the amazing people and their blogs that I had the pleasure of meeting. It’s a long list so I’ve decided to highlight some each week and make it a short run feature here on t&t. Hope you enjoy and perhaps find a few new sites to add to your blogroll!

{Frolic!}

First up is Chelsea, the talented stylist and blogger behind {frolic!}. Being a huge fan already, it was so exciting to get to meet her in person. Chelsea was speaking at the conference on the “Beyond Ad Networks” panel and it was great to hear some of her insights. {frolic!} is one of my favorite sources for general inspiration, fashion and the photos of Chelsea’s work are always a real treat to look at.

ISLY (I Still Love You)

Next is Melissa of I Still Love  You (IS•LY) which offers a ton for great tutorials and freebies. I especially like her sewing tutorials for both adults and kids, they seem to strike a good balance between chic and doable. Case in point: this shirt dress is freeeeking adorable, nuff said. Though I only met her breifly, Melissa, is a total sweetheart and had one of the coolest bussiness cards I saw!
