Giving Thanks
November 19th, 2009Scouting the inter-webs yesterday I found these on FAYE + CO. Be still my heart. These beautiful Thanksgiving Invitations were designed by Katie of Chellé Paperie. As Diane said, this would be an event not to be missed!
Katie was kind of enough to fill me in on the details of this sweet project. She sandwiched bookboard between two pieces of pearlized ivory card-stock then die-cut them. Each invite was then placed inside a custom linen stitched pocket. Though simple, there is something fantastically unexpected and sophisticated about this set wouldn’t you agree?
See more images on Flickr here and check out more of Katie and Rachelle’s amazing work here.

I love these–from the scallops to the pinked edges to the cloth, the textures are delicious. How could you say no to an invite this beautiful?

The linen pocket really complete the invitations. The level of detail is really professional and innovative! Thanks for sharing.

Wow! She actually had the cards di-cut. Use that di-cut girl, you go!

I love the die cut! Did Kate mention what kind of die cut machine she used?
