Love how this turned out. I was inspired by your post with the how-to link and picked up supplies this weekend for a little Christmas decorating using these rosettes. Good thing I got it early, as it sounds time consuming!

This looks absolutely stunning!! I have been obsessed with layering tons of different textures (as you can tell by today’s post- http://wp.me/pt4zb-Kc) and this pillow is so in line with that warm, cozy layered look. Love it!

Hi Anna! I ended up using wool felt. The directions call for felt or wool felt. To be honest, I’m not entirely clear on the differences but I got the wool felt hoping it might be a little sturdier. I’m sure either one would be fin though. Good luck!

I’m a novice sew’er also and those rosettes are very time consuming, but worth it. I haven’t done this on a pillow, but I did cover the sleeve on a one shoulder dress. I didn’t know etsy had a how to section – I will be sure to check it out. thx
