Paper Craft by Matthew Sporzynski
September 21st, 2009

These are a few examples of the amazing paper sculptures fromĀ Matthew Sporzynski. What he can do with paper and glue is truly awe inspiring, those Oreos look good enough to eat! You probably recognize his work from the incredible pieces he’s done for Real Simple Magazine. I always look forward to each issue to see what he comes up with next.
Sadly I couldn’t find much more on Matthew but that’s not for a lack of trying; he doesn’t have a website, his company Couturier de Cardboard doesn’t have one either and every article on him references the same missing Real Simple gallery. If anyone has pictures of more of his work, share in the comments and I’ll add them!

Wow these are amazing! That popcorn is unreal. And you’re right, I absolutely recognized them as Real Simple-esque. Crazy to have such an identifiable style from your work with paper.

hello. i came across this post and thought i’d share another paper artist, makiko azakami. her paper toys are really sweet, and it’s hard to believe all the detail she achieves in the pieces, which are often less than 3″ big.

I am a Real Simple magazine subscriber and they created a gallery of his work on this site. They sent it in an email just this week!
Here’s the link!
