June 10th, 2009With so many teachers in my immediate family (5 to be exact), I’m acutely aware that the school year is coming to a close. It’s always nice to give a small thank you to the people who have such a huge impact on the lives of your children. How cute!! My mom is a teacher (she is retiring this year after 35 years!) and she’s accumulated so many apple-themed gifts that she decided to decorate one of our former kitchens with all of the stuff. She has also gotten a linen closet FULL of candles over the years…she said that her favourite gifts are gift certificates to really good restaurants, or tasteful gifts like these! =)

Those are all really cute ideas! I wonder if teachers get sick of the apple stuff after a while – even if they do these are such cute takes on the idea I think it’s great!
