I’m smitten with this logo and identity package for Hungry Elephant by Arlo. It’s both playful and sophisticated and I’m always a sucker for magenta and gray, I love that they whet the extra mile and printed the envelopes on the inside as well. From their website it doesn’t appear that Hungry Elephant is using these any more, which is a shame, it’s sad to see such great design retired.

Last summer some of my peers and I were asked to participate in the Letterpress Steamroller Smackdown held at the School of Visual Concepts here in Seattle. This charming certificate was designed by the talented Chris Stern of Stern & Faye and each of us were lucky enough to received one of these letterpress posters for taking part in the event.

It would make my day if I was handed one of these business cards for Oz Hair Studio! These simple and creative cards were designed by RECIRCLE; a commercial production agency in Croatia. Don’t they just make you smile?

Spotted on ffffound

Twig & Thistle got a new camera! We spent the better part of the weekend taking photos of Tula in the back yard and here are a few of my favorites.

I saw these in a store today and immediately got jealous that I didn’t think of them myself! It’s pretty clear I have a thing for cupcakes, so it’s no wonder that I think this Oh Baby Baby Cake Set by Meri Meri is so cute! I just love how the colors and patterns work together and the animals are the definition of adorable. These would be the perfect compliment to a baby shower or birthday or eating a batch of cupcakes while watching American Idol. Just an idea
