Todays theme is kids, in honor of my nephew’s 1st birthday party tomorrow. Hope everyone has a great weekend and don’t forget to make some turtles if you haven’t already!

Here is a recipe I got from my (wonderful) neighbor for quick and easy turtles. I was a bit skeptical when I first saw them but after eating one I was hooked! Seriously, don’t knock em till you try em! These are perfect for an impromptu gathering or a nice treat when you’ve got a craving.

Ingredients:
Mini Pretzels
Pecan Halfs
Rolos
That’s it!

1) On a cookies sheet, arrange the pretzels then place a Rolo on top of each one. Bake at 220 F. for 2 minutes.

2) Remove from the oven and immediately start placing the Pecans on top and pushing them down, squishing the Rolos.

3) Enjoy!

I stumbled onto Twigs & Honey over the weekend while browsing through one of my new favorite blog reads: Edyta Szyszlo. These hair and body pieces by Myra Callan are truly some of the most beautiful things I’ve see in a while; I only wish that I had known about them before my own wedding! Wouldn’t you know it, the day before I was planing on writing about Rebel Green the always wonderful Black Eiffel does an entire post! I’m still going to write about it because it’s just too good to pass up. With such great design and messaging there’s a lot to love! Here are a few of may favorites, I really love the illustration on their aesthetics and ethics page, and that produce bag is fantastic!
