Glass Beverage Bottles
April 21st, 2009I’ve seen images of similar bottles online and was completley smitten. I love it when someone can appropriate the language of something unappealing and wasteful and turn it into an object of beauty. With all the effort to be more socially responsible and care for the environment they seem like a cheeky way of doing your part.
You can imagine my glee when I came across these small ones at Crate & Barrel for only $7.95! My husband and I now have them on our desks at work and a set in our guest room. Love!

I saw one very similar the other day in Pier 1. I picked it up and felt how delicate it was and instantly knew that it wouldn’t last two days in my house… and the same goes for work. It was very pretty, though.

I love these, but when I went to C&B to purchase they were pulling them off the shelf because of safety issues. Just thought I’d share.

Yep, unfortunately these are under recall. I like mine so much I don’t want to part with it
