Paper Forest, a blog that highlights toys made of paper, is a fun place to browse for new and clever papercraft ideas. Today I popped over for a visit and to my delight saw this Obama model from Cubecraft! What better way to commemorate this historical week than to decorate my desk with this charming little Obama doll. How cute did this turn out?! There are so many fun cube creatures to make over at Cubecraft so be sure to check them out. To get your own Obama click here.

A sweet invitation program designed by the oh so talented folks at Studio MIKMIK. A pattern of branches, berries and mushrooms were used to create this “vintage autumn” themed invitation. The die cut is a stunning addition to such a simple program. I love!

Gocco printing is something that I’ve always wanted to learn but just haven’t had the opportunity to do yet. These prints on Flickr by InkDesigner make me want to run to my nearest art shop and pick one up immediately and try my hand at it! There are quite a few amazing gocco prints in their set but this particular collection stood out. To buy your own InkDesigner prints visit their Etsy shop.

I am so excited for the new Orla Kiely Collection to hit Target stores February 1st. Target has had some great collections lately (Dwell Studio anyone?!) and it makes decorating more practical and fun. Besides this new launch in February, they’ve also got some other great new minimalist items in stores already. I was browsing around the other day and stumbled on a few home items that I thought I’d share. That bench is calling my name!

My niece’s first birthday is quickly approaching and I’ve decided to try out a few projects for her upcoming party. First up is a fabric garland to decorate the walls and ceiling. I couldn’t wait to share this latest project because it turned out to be so easy and super fun to do! I wish I had a birthday party to celebrate every month just so I’d have an excuse to make these.
